Shortly
after moving into the apartment and even after the initial viewing of the
apartment unit we had noticed that the stove burners and stove oven had to be
cleaned before they could be used.
·
Also
in that same timeframe we had discovered that the elliptical receptacle on the
north wall of the kitchen where you are supposed to be able to have electrical
appliances that the electrical receptacle was not working.
·
Approximately
after two weeks of occupying the unit that we noticed there was issues
regarding apartment bathroom shower stall - in reference to shower hose and
handheld showerhead as the bar at the bottom was lose because of screw hole was
bigger then the screw, also where the showerhead joined main water supply
connected to the hose at that connection it requires a o ring and that
showerhead itself needs to be replaced as where the different settings of
shower spray is the head is separating and majority of the water is escaping
through the crevice instead of intended selection of the handheld showerhead.
·
Also
the salient around the floor area of the shower stall is peeling and needs to
be repaired as soon as possible before there could be water damage in the
occupant unit and/or the occupant unit below and said mentioned unit.

Apartment
building elevator when the power goes out the elevators are not functional as
they are modern and computerized in the landlord has a contractor who is doing
the computer sitting for appropriate function of elevators knon as resetting
for appropriate operation of elevator's. During power outages even the
emergency lighting from building comes on for approximately 15 minutes and then
off again this even applies to the stairwell of the building from the first
floor all the way up to the sixth floor level. What is very interesting during
our last power outage it was in the evening and from 7 PM to approximately 2 AM
next morning I was stuck at the main entrance of the apartment building as
numerous residents may the emergency phone call to see if contractor was sending
someone to reset the elevators. In the meantime the fire department was called
and they came they were able to get there emergency keys from our department
key box at the front of the building this giving them a key for entrance into
the building and a key supposedly to reset elevators, now after numerous discussions
among the fire Captain and his staff and checking various locations in the
building it was discovered that their key would not reset the elevators without
the contractors technician to reset the elevators. The captain decided to call the EMS to bring a special
chair to carry me out for flights of stairs to my apartment resident’s, In next
morning the contractors sent a technician between 8:30 AM and 9 AM.
June 30, 2014, Monday morning another surprise in the elevator, as there was a broken bottle glass all over the floor of the elevator... It is one thing when one someone wishes to have a drink but it is another thing when they are irresponsible for picking up broken glass for the safety of other residents using the elevator service facilities within the building.
